BiotSavart Publisher Description

BiotSavart calculates the magnetic field resulting from general 3-D configurations of current-carrying conductors. It has proven useful in the design of superconducting and copper coil systems. Conductor types include current loop, thin and thick solenoid, racetrack coil, and filamentary wire of arbitrary path. The magnetic field can be calculated along any path and graphed; or on any plane surface to give a contour plot. Field plots are updated as you modify the conductors.

Whats new:
Version 4.0.2: Improvements Better handling of calculation abort requests. Bug fixes Check mark on Auto recompute menu item did not work properly. Program would sometimes crash when objects deleted while editing. Selected checkbox on Racetrack editor was not responsive. Wire diameter read from saved files would be overwritten by wire diameter calculated from number of windings. Bug fixes Revolved object did not edit properly. The surface of thin and pancake solenoids now draws properly.
